Carly Summers and Greyston Sterling were each other's first kiss, first sexual experience, first love, first everything.
They had a love that was made to last. That was until Grey took a job as a freelance photographer that took him to the other side of the world. When it came down to a choice between his career and his girl - he chose the career. He's travelled the world and seen sights he wished Carly was there to experience. He's had relationships along the way but nothing meaningful.
Carly has had relationships but nothing that lasted. No-one could compare to Grey.
Now, 10 years later, Grey's back in town and wants to see if they can rekindle what they had all those years ago. But how can they if he's engaged to somebody else?

Nothing Like The First Time is a tale of how nothing compares to your first love. There are trials and tribulations Carly and Grey must overcome on their way back to each other... what if they can't get over the obstacles life throws at them...

My Review -
This fabulous NA novel is about two characters called Carly and Grey. They were high school lovers and shared every single living moment together as well as special events and passion creating a memorable and desirable bond that can never be forgotten.  However when grey got a huge job opportunity to become a freelance photographer he took the chance creating a strain on these two loved up teenagers ending the relationship.  Time passed and both characters were ten years older than their teenage selves when they later bumped into each other again leaving a few assumptions to be lingering in Carlys mind as grey was not alone in a place they use to go in their younger days. Will their feeling be rekindled?
The characters featured in this novel were extremely credible for their realistic personalities and actions throughout. The romance that is shown and described throughout the book is again very realistic with a reminder and clear understanding of how many relationships happen and can later turn out.
When reading ‘Nothing Like The First Time’ you will need to be prepared for the many tears that may be rolling down your face and the happiness that will also arise having you smiling ear to ear in no time.
Did any problems arise? Well I will let you in to a little secret … be prepared for the shock that happens towards the centre of this incredible book!
I would recommend this book to any reader over the age of seventeen due to sexual contents and the language throughout capturing a mature audience to read and enjoy another great read by Keren Hughes!

Synopsis:

Carly Summers and Greyston Sterling were each other's first kiss, first sexual experience, first love, first everything...

They were a match made in Heaven, that was, until Grey took a job as a freelance photographer which took him to the other side of the world. When it came down to a choice between his career and his girl - he chose his career.

Now, 10 years later, Grey's back in town and wants to see if they can rekindle what they had all those years ago. Carly has had relationships but nothing that lasted. No one ever compared to Grey.

But how can they if he's engaged to somebody else?

Excerpt:

“So your career comes before me?” I asked, already knowing the answer. “At least look me in the eye and answer me, it’s the least you owe me Grey.”
“I don’t want to have to choose Carls,” he said as he caught my eye. “I just don’t want to miss out on the experience of a lifetime. I get to see amazing things, capture them on film while I experience the different cultures.”
“Just answer the question Grey – you want your career more than you want me.” I started to cry again, I had wanted to get through this without crying but I was fooling myself when I thought that.

“I’m sorry Carls,” he said as he took my hand into his. “I love you, I always will. But this is the opportunity of a lifetime, it may never happen again. I need to do this. I’m not making a conscious choice to put you second but if you weren’t so stubborn, you’d come with me like I asked.”

About the Author:

Keren lives in the UK and is an avid bookworm; she has been since she read things like Black Beauty, What Katy Did and The Hobbit as a child. Her first real memories of reading are the summers she used to lie on her bed and re-read What Katy Did and What Katy Did Next.

Over the years she has come to realise that she is a bit OCD about books. They have to be in perfect condition without the slightest bit of damage.

She is a book reviewer and has been for the past 18 months or so.

The idea for Stolen came to her one day but she never thought she’d actually write it let alone publish it. If it wasn’t for her author friend Kira Saito, the idea would still be stuck in her head not on paper. But constant love and support from Kira is why you are now able to read Stolen.

Stolen is her first novel but now that she’s written one, she knows she needs to write more. There will be one sequel, called Freed which will be from Bodhi’s POV. This will be set a couple of years on.
Then, the plan is for her to write either NA or Adult Contemporary Romances. She has a big crush on Lady Antebellum’s music at the moment and their songs have inspired a few book ideas.

Keren loves hearing from her readers and if you want to contact her, you can do so at any of the following places:

When Native American Fredricka ‘Fred’ Oday is invited to become the only girl on the school’s golf team, she can’t say no. This is an opportunity to shine, win a scholarship and go to university, something no one in her family has done.

But Fred’s presence on the team isn’t exactly welcome — especially not to rich golden boy Ryan Berenger, whose best friend was kicked off the team to make a spot for Fred.

But there’s no denying that things are happening between the girl with the killer swing and the boy with the killer smile...

GET HOOKED ON A GIRL NAMED FRED.

My Review-
This credible story is about a young Indian girl that loves playing golf. When she gets noticed by a sports coach from her high school golf team. She jumps at the chance although there is the slightest bit of doubt as she will be joining an all boys team. Is love in the air for two of the characters?
When I first started reading this book I didn’t think it would be my kind of read as I’m not to keen on golf and know very little of the sport but I was soon proved wrong as I found myself not wanting to put the book down and pondering about their every move.
In this book you will be reading from both characters point of view. You will learn the sides of two different but similar lifestyles and characters known as Fred and Ryan. I loved ryan and fred equally throughout the book as they are both amazing characters
If love was easy it would be boring right? Well that’s exactly what is proven throughout this book .Many problems occur throughout the book regularly  keeping  you reading on and on.
If you want a different love story compared to your original fairy tales this book is for you.

My Review-
Do you want a book with emotion, adventures and romance?  Then angels no more by Jo Cattell is for you! Angels no more took my emotions on a huge whirlwind which led me to smile for minutes and cry for hours in sadness or pure happiness. The storyline was so realistic and mind capturing that I struggled to put the book down at many occasions. My bond with the characters  are so realistic and strong that I feel like I’m taking each step with them throughout their hectic life styles and dilemmas that I found myself at many points throughout wanting to stand up and shout at the characters for their actions and decisions. Make sure to prepare yourself for a number of shocks that will be thrown your way.
Two characters to watch out for while reading this amazing series is nick and Kevin as I find that they have a real way of words that can pull at your heart strings for hours making you weak at the knees.
Do I like this book? well… like is an understatement I’m more in love with angels no more than anything ever before another book that will be added to my favourites on good reads.
If you want a book that can pull out your inner emotions pick up the fallen angels series today!

Roshanna O'Dare wakes up in her own home in shock when she discovers part of her memory is missing and her parents are dead…

With no clues of any kind as to what happened to her parents, and no other close family, Roshanna must move to Texas, Austin, to live with her last living relative, Uncle Joe after the funeral. But this means leaving her best friend, Marissa Mason behind.

That’s when she meets Bodhi Vincent, her uncle’s chauffeur, who seems to understand Roshanna in a way no one else has…

Bodhi is her rock after the death of her parents and the longer she stays with her uncle, the closer they become.

But before moving away, Roshanna was confronted with a shocking secret that Marissa had kept from her, a secret that changes how she sees life and the people in it—Marissa is a pure soul and her foster parents are soul drainers who need her pure energy to survive.

More shockingly, her parents’ souls were stolen by their murderer.

When Roshanna and Bodhi try and track down Marissa’s father, Leith Mason, in order to retrieve her parents’ souls back, they find themselves held hostage at gunpoint.

Will Roshanna and Bodhi survive? Will she ever find her parents souls? Or will their souls be the next ones to be taken?

My Review-

I loved Stolen from the start to finish.
Do you want to read a paranormal that expresses real life problems with a range of adventures? If yes, then this book is for you. ‘Stolen’ expresses a range of life to life occurrences, family loss, romance and friendships, good and bad. Many exciting and adventures occurred throughout ‘stolen’ as Roshanna was on a mission to find her mom and dad’s souls that were taken from an unknown source.
Every one of the characters has a realistic relationship that anyone can relate too. I loved reading about the relationship between Roshanna and Bodhi as they were both very unique and credible characters to discover. Bodhi was sold extremely well by the author Keren Hughes which allowed me to fall instantly in love with the character.
I would definitely recommend this book as it is a great and addictive book to read.
To find out who stole her parents souls pick up your copy SOON! You can pick up this amazing read for your kindle and even in paperback.

Debney Nichole Armstrong thought she knew everything about her family. She knew her dad worked hard at everything, except building a relationship with his family. She knew her younger brothers were typical kids, and she knew her mother, for some unknown reason, disliked her first born and only daughter. What she hadn’t known… DNA could ruin your life.

My Review-
Debney is just about to turn 18… You would think this time of year would be a time filled with joy and happiness… well that’s not always the case certainly not in the life of Debney Armstrong. Life has changed but not for the best. Will anything be the same again? will it all change for the worse? Or will life get better?
Life for Debney has never been a bundle of joy …being left alone while your family takes a vacation to the place of your dreams isn’t a great feeling as well as having a mother that has no intention of showing any affection to her only daughter. Feeling guilty her father lets her throw a party to turn 18 but little did she know everything would change from then on…
Debney has 2 close friends she has Nadine and the handsome Giante. Both characters help the book become reality enticing you in more and more to carry on reading about their different lifestyles.
What can I say next? Well where do I begin to mention the adventures that occurred or even the problems that were sooner or later resolved … DNA does not struggle to take you on an adventure of your life.DNA is very  hectic and  terrifying with a tint (ok maybe a huge amount)of  worry.
I found that Giante became my main interest throughout as he was stubborn but had a great head on his shoulders to help and support Debney a lot of the times I was sat there in awe at what he was doing or tried to do but having two stubborn characters in one book can make you scream in pure annoyance to get one of them to give in ! I could feel what the characters felt at different times but felt a strong bond towards Debney and Giante.
Must READ !

On the heels of a family tragedy, the last thing Katie Greene wants to do is move halfway across the world. Stuck with her aunt in Shizuoka, Japan, Katie feels lost. Alone. She doesn’t know the language, she can barely hold a pair of chopsticks, and she can’t seem to get the hang of taking her shoes off whenever she enters a building.

Then there’s gorgeous but aloof Tomohiro, star of the school’s kendo team. How did he really get the scar on his arm? Katie isn’t prepared for the answer. But when she sees the things he draws start moving, there’s no denying the truth: Tomo has a connection to the ancient gods of Japan, and being near Katie is causing his abilities to spiral out of control. If the wrong people notice, they'll both be targets.

Katie never wanted to move to Japan—now she may not make it out of the country alive.

My Review = * May include spoilers!*

Wow! If you’re looking for a new unique adventure to read and explore then get your head into this book … when I got INK to review I didn’t really know what to expect but as soon as I opened the front cover I knew this story would be right up my street. INK covers many things that spark my interest such as action, romance and a unique twist making the book have a more interesting appeal we also get to learn the history of Japanese life and many words from their language.
Katie is the main character in INK however … her life has been turned in to a rollercoaster of changes since her mother dies. She is moved to a brand new place where she needs to learn a whole new way of living which kept you constantly on your feet; at the very beginning  Katie doubts herself as she believes she does not fit in to the Japanese culture but DAMN is she wrong she may not look or sound the part but she may just be more involved in the Japanese lifestyle then she knows…
At one moment throughout I felt like I was placed inside of this amazing on-going adventure. I felt as if I was getting told of by Diane e.g. for being late home and being questioned about where I am and who I am with. many emotions also ran through my body when she spent the night with Yuu Tomohiro as all I felt was a rush of panic run through my body when Diane nearly caught  her out on the phone. My emotions always went from one drastic feeling to another such as shock, sadness, anger and pure awe.
INK by Amanda Sun is one marvellous read !!!
